Continued Suspension of Activities During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Dear Holy Redeemer Community,
On May 14, the Council held their monthly meeting via Zoom. Based on best available information from health, church (synod and ELCA), and community sources, the executive committee recommended continued suspension of activities. This was quickly agreed to by the full council. Discussion turned to timing and it was decided that the suspension would continue through June 30. This allows better coordination following the next council meeting should we be able to resume activities. Council will continue to monitor and re-evaluate at their next scheduled meeting - Thursday, June 11.
Facebook Live (*) streaming worship will continue on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am.
May 31 - Day of Pentecost
June 7 - The Holy Trinity - Message from Bishop Eaton
June 14 - Pentecost 2
June 21 - Pentecost 3
June 28 - Pentecost 4
Check email, this website, and other church sources for updates about July
(*) For those not on Facebook, we will be posting recorded versions to YouTube as we are able.
As we continue to navigate how best to be the church in our community during the global pandemic, we thank you for your generous support - of Holy Redeemer and our special offering partners. Offerings have continued to come in via mail, online banking, and dropping off at the church. Thank you!
Continue to follow us through email or on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram. If you have any questions, concerns, or prayer requests, please reach out to Pastor Jayne, administrative assistant, Jeff Hand, or council president, Linda Singelstad.
We are all united through Jesus, wherever we may be. We send you blessings and many prayers. You are all greatly missed.
God's peace and continued good health!
