Music Worship Life

Jesus said, "Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them."

-Matthew 18:20

Worship and music are at the center of our faith life. It gives us strength to do God's work in the world.

Our services are on Sundays at 9 am. At Holy Redeemer we follow the Lectionary and practice Open Communion. All are welcome to the Lord's Table!

We have extensive lay participation in worship, which includes the musical gifts of instrumentalists, choir, cantors, and soloists and the gifts of those serving as worship leaders, Communion servers, ushers, greeters, lay readers, and a host of other roles.

We believe that music has a way of touching the soul that words sometimes just can't. We take seriously selecting music that integrates the readings every Sunday. Our mission is to provide music that helps every worshipper experience God.

During Advent and Lent, and at certain times during the year, we offer youth-led services, and non-traditional forms of worship. We are always being made new by God!

Adult Choir

Throughout the year, our adult choir sings once a month and at special services. We practice on Sunday mornings from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Talk with our music director, Marilyn Mark, if you are interested in joining our choir. It's open to anyone in high school or above.
